1. Summary
We are seeking the Governance Council’s approval to utilize Kaia Ecosystem Fund, for making payments within the short term. These payments aim to support service development and enhance infrastructure in line with the fund’s objectives.
The precise expenditures of KAIA for this will be transparently disclosed via Square website. Kaia Foundation will facilitate voting on the items, enabling the Governance Council to express opinions and preferences.

After posting the governance proposal on the forum, each agenda item will be moved to Kaia Square for on-chain voting. The on-chain voting will be conducted from June 12 to June 26, and a GC meeting will be held on June 18 to discuss the agenda.

There seems to be a discrepancy between the amounts listed under ‘USD-quoted Expense’ and those described in the ‘description’ column in the Kaia Stablecoin Summer Hackathon Prize & Marketing Cost budget table.
If we base it on the ‘USD-quoted Expense’, it can be revised as follows:
- as-is: $50,000 from KEF and $110,000 from partner sponsorships
- to-be: $60,000 from KEF and $100,000 from partner sponsorships

Thank you for your interest in the budget plan and the grant details. Out of the total $60,000 budget, $50,000 is allocated to the prize pool as outlined. The remaining $10,000 will be reserved for promotional efforts aimed at encouraging developer participation in the hackathon. We will provide marketing-related expenditures as they are incurred.
