결과와 관계없이 이번 안건이 클레이튼 거버넌스의 좋은 사례를 만든 것 같아, 투표에 참여해 주신 거버넌스의 일원 분들과 커뮤니티 분들에게 감사의 말씀드립니다.

안건의 내용에 대해선 많은 GC분들과 빌더분들이 아낌없는 지지를 보내주셨습니다.

안건이 올라간 이후 여론의 반응을 보며 주요 GC분들과 많은 논의를 나눴습니다.

규모 및 지급 방식에 대해 여론의 피드백이 있는 상황인 만큼, 무리하게 이번 안건에 대한 투표를 이끌어나가는 부분은 많은 부담이 있었습니다.

저희가 가지고 있는 생태계에 대한 진정성에 대한 몇몇 분들의 오해를 해소할 수 있도록,

커뮤니티와 GC분들의 피드백을 겸허히 받아들이고 안건의 내용에 대한 재논의를 하는 것이 맞다고 판단하였습니다.

클레이튼 생태계에 더 도움이 되는 방향으로 지급 방식 및 규모를 재조정하는 구조로 재단과 새롭게 깊은 논의를 해보기로 했습니다.

스왑스캐너가 생태계에 더 도움이 될 수 있도록, 충분한 논의 후 재상정 드리겠습니다.

또한 더욱 많은 GC분들과 논의하여 더 활발한 거버넌스를 만들어 나가는데 일조하겠습니다.

Dear Klaytn Governance Committee Members and Community,

Firstly, we wish to express our deepest gratitude to each of you for your active participation and invaluable inputs during the recent voting process. Regardless of the outcome, this experience has been a remarkable case study in the efficacy and engagement of the Klaytn governance model.

Your support and insights regarding the proposal were highly encouraging. After observing the community’s response and engaging in extensive discussions with key GC members, we have gained a broader perspective on the matter.

We recognize that there are concerns regarding the scale and distribution method of the proposed KLAY token grant. In light of this feedback, we believe it is prudent to not rush the voting on this proposal. Instead, we see this as an opportunity to humbly receive your feedback and revisit the proposal details.

With a commitment to contributing more effectively to the Klaytn ecosystem, we are currently in deep discussions with the Foundation to recalibrate the grant’s scale and distribution in a way that aligns more closely with the community’s vision.

Our goal is to reframe the proposal, after thorough consideration and discussion, in a manner that maximizes benefits for the ecosystem. We are also looking forward to engaging with more GC members to foster a more dynamic and participative governance environment.

Once again, we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who shared their thoughts and participated in this process. Your involvement is vital to the growth and success of our collective ecosystem.

We would like to take a moment to reflect on the recently concluded KGP-20, an event that demonstrated the functionality and effectiveness of the Klaytn governance process. The engagement from various stakeholders, including GC members, builders, holders, and the community showcased the dynamism of our ecosystem.

While KGP-20 may not have passed, yet it served a crucial purpose in allowing us to receive valuable feedback and insights directly from our community and ecosystem participants. The governance process, intentionally designed for this purpose, proved to be an effective avenue for putting forth communication and understanding within our community.
We can consider KGP-20 as the initial step in refining and constructing the path forward for a more tangible proposal. We appreciate the active involvement of the community in this iterative journey.

Looking ahead, we encourage other builders and teams to leverage Klaytn’s governance not only to submit proposals but also to engage directly with the GC members and the community. By doing so, we can collectively work towards building better and stronger products that align with the diverse needs of our community.
