Proposal for the Launch of the Kaia Community Committee (KCC)**

Proposal

The Foundation seeks approval to establish the Kaia Community Committee (KCC) to facilitate the rapid and efficient expansion of the Kaia ecosystem.

The Kaia Community Committee will be one of the Kaia Sub Committees, which are specialized groups under the Kaia Governance Council. These subcommittees are tasked with executing specific initiatives to expand the Kaia ecosystem through professional decision-making and swift action. The Foundation plans to launch the Community Committee as the first of these subcommittees, leveraging ideas and participation from the Kaia community to drive ecosystem growth.

On May 20, 2024, the Foundation issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Kaia Community Committee. We conducted a thorough evaluation of the submitted proposals, including a written review and individual interviews, with a panel of internal and external DAO experts. Based on this evaluation, we seek approval from the Kaia Governance Council to simultaneously launch the BUGHOLE Committee and the KnightFury Alliance.

Operational Period

If approved, the KCC will be launched immediately upon the conclusion of the vote. Both the BUGHOLE Committee and the KnightFury Alliance will commence operations as outlined in their respective proposals and timelines. The operational period will last for six months from the launch date. After six months, the Kaia Governance Council will review the committees’ performance against their KPIs and milestones to determine whether to extend their operations.

Budget and Expected Outcomes

Each KCC will have an operational budget of $1.5M KLAY, as detailed in the respective proposals. The committees will use these funds for investments, marketing, and other operational expenses to achieve their business objectives.

The committees must submit payment requests and relevant documents (invoices, investment contracts, etc.) to the Kaia Foundation for budget allocation. The Foundation will disburse funds based on the KLAY exchange rate at the time of transfer (or another agreed-upon standard).

Operational Method

Each KCC will operate according to its proposal. Following the launch, the Kaia Foundation and each KCC will sign an operational contract detailing the operational period, objectives, and budget. This contract will also stipulate that any misconduct will result in immediate termination of the committee’s operations and forfeiture of the remaining budget. Additionally, any unutilized budget at the end of the six-month period will be reclaimed by the Foundation.

Conclusion

The launch of the KCC will be a significant milestone for the sustainable growth of the Kaia ecosystem. We kindly request the Kaia Governance Council to vote on the establishment of the BUGHOLE Committee and the KnightFury Alliance.

운영 기간

투표 결과가 ‘승인’되면 투표 종료 즉시 KCC가 출범하며, BUGHOLE Committee와 KnightFury Alliance는 각 운영 제안서에 담긴 내용과 타임라인에 따라 운영을 시작합니다. 운영 기간은 출범일로부터 6개월입니다. 6개월 후, KPI 및 마일스톤 달성 여부를 바탕으로 각 KCC 운영 연장 승인을 Kaia Governance Council에 요청할 예정입니다.

운영 예산 및 기대 성과

각 KCC별 운영 예산은 제안서에 기재된 바와 같이 Committee별 $1.5M KLAY입니다. 각 Committee는 제안서에 명시된 사업 성과 달성을 위해 투자, 마케팅, 운영 등의 예산을 사용할 계획입니다.

각 KCC는 예산 항목별 KLAY 필요 시, 지급 요청서와 관련 자료(인보이스, 투자 계약서 등)를 Kaia Foundation에 제출해야 합니다. Kaia Foundation은 해당 자금을 각 Committee에 전송하며, 전송 시점의 KLAY 단가(혹은 별도 합의한 기준)에 따라 예산 사용 금액이 책정됩니다.
